The finish is fine semi matte. Your canvas is hand stretched onto kiln dried solid wood frames to ensure your canvas will never warp or sage over time. All canvas sizes 30” or above are fitted with a back strainer bar to further support the frame.

Metal Prints: Infusing dyes directly into specially coated metal prints results in outstanding image clarity and vibrancy with exceptional detail and resolution. Our metal photo prints are extremely durable, offering scratch resistance and the longest fade resistance in the market. We use a heat press that lets us sublimate printing on metal with highly accurate colour reproduction. Your metal prints will stay true to the original photo. Metal photo prints involve directly infusing onto aluminum that’s been specially coated to create luminous images that will last longer than almost any other medium. Repositional Wall Peels: Wall Peels are printed on heavy grade vinyl with a matte finish. Each has unique adhesive that allows the decal to be removed and re-applied multiple times. They are perfect for dorm rooms, kid's rooms, doors, and more. Wall peels are not recommended for textured or rough surfaces, newly painted walls (which usually need about 30 days to fully cure), textiles, or on wallpaper.
Smooth Fine Art Paper: Also referred to as photo rag this paper is ideal for art reproductions. The 100% cotton paper is acid-free for a long print life. It is heavy weight and ideal for art reproductions (giclees). It has a silky smooth, matte white surface for detailed images and accurate colors.
Metallic Photo Paper: This has a metallic high-gloss surface on photo paper that produces vibrant, exceptional prints, making this the perfect medium for discerning customers. The 300-gram photo paper has a distinctive pearlescent high-gloss surface. The prints dry instantly and are highly resistant to scratches.
Luster Photo Paper: Photo ESatin 300g is a premium-quality, resin-coated inkjet photo paper. The prints feel noticeably thicker, heavier, and more durable than mass-market inkjet photo papers; The latest generation is even thicker than before at 11.5 Mil. The print surface doesn’t show fingerprints or reflect glare like glossy papers. This paper produces bright, realistically saturated colors.
PRINTS
Every Print order is reviewed by our print technicians to ensure your image will reproduce at the highest quality for the media you have selected. Should we have any questions or concerns we will be in touch. We are experts at shipping artwork so rest assured that your order will be professionally wrapped and packed for safe shipping.
Our average turnaround time for printed products is between 5-7 business days and 7-10 business days for facemount to acrylic and framed prints. However, depending on order volume our turnaround time might be a little quicker or longer. From mid-November to Mid-January the production times may also increase due to the holiday season. Please note shipping time is extra. Also note that due to the pandemic, production and shipping times for prints are significantly longer than usual and it takes at least 3 weeks before the prints ship.
If you need your order faster then our average turnaround time please contact us to discuss your needs. We are usually able to accommodate special requests however expedited orders do incur an additional charge, which will be quoted to you.
We ship Prints within Canada & the continental United States. Shipping to the Canadian Territories, Hawaii and Alaska will be quoted separately, as will shipping to international destinations. A tracking number will be provided by email to give you the ability to track your order throughout the shipping process. All items are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit. Please note that we cannot deliver to a PO box so please ensure that you provide us with your actual street number address.
ORIGINALS
Originals will be shipped as is, allowing you to mat and frame them yourself. Tracking information will be emailed to you as soon as it is available.
We ship Originals within the Canadian provinces and the continental United States at the prices quoted in the table below. RETURNS/EXCHANGES/REFUNDS
We do our utmost to ensure that prints, originals and merchandise are packaged carefully and arrive safely at their destination. We also want to make sure that you are completely happy with your new artwork (prints and orginals). If you are not, for whatever reason, please contact us within 3 business days.
We do not provide refunds or exchanges on merchandise unless the goods were damaged in shipping. If they were, please read the section below and follow the instructions outlined there.
Your print order may be cancelled and a refund issued as long as your order has not gone into production. Production times vary and can commence anywhere from an hour after receiving your order to several days. Please note that a cancellation fee of 15% will be charged to any cancelled orders. If you must cancel your order please contact us ASAP at info@francinesfineart.ca, or call 905-921-7369.
Sales of original works may be cancelled prior to shipment, but a cancellation fee of 15% will be charged. Our policy is that we do not accept returns or exchanges on originals.
We do want to ensure that you a completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact us at info@francinesfineart.ca, or call 905-921-7369. Include your order number and a brief description of what the issue is. We will contact you to see how we can help and whether we can make an exception.
DAMAGED ARTWORK OR MERCHANDISEIf you package is damaged when it arrives, please take photographs of the damage and of the tracking number before you open the parcel. Then open the package and, if there is damage to the product, please take additional photos. Save all the packaging and the product, and contact us within 3 days at info@francinesfineart.ca. Once the insurance claim has been approved, you will receive a credit toward another print product if that is what you bought, or a full refund. If you purchased an original painting, you may choose another painting, a full refund or, if Francine's schedule allows, a recreation of the painting purchased. Please contact us by phone or email to discuss these options.
